LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- The La Crosse Police Department have announced that they have not found any criminal conduct relating to the death of Eliotte Heinz following a preliminary autopsy. Final autopsy results will not be completed for several months.

Wisconsin graduate student Eliotte Heinz was found dead in the Mississippi River in La Crosse, WI. Her body was found after hours of searching since she went missing on July 20, last seen on camera walking near the colossal river.

La Crosse Police Department have reported that the body of Eliotte Heinz was recovered in the Mississippi River near Brownsville, Minnesota.
