With Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark already out indefinitely with an injury and Aari McDonald the only true point guard on Indiana's roster, the team will have to find a replacement player for Colson if she's seriously injured. The team can't rush Clark back, so a free agent is the next best option if Colson is out.

Colson, 36, made her WNBA debut back in 2011 and spent the past three seasons in Las Vegas, where she won two titles with the Aces. The Fever signed Colson in free agency this winter with the hope that she would be a strong locker room presence for their young core
