Entertainment conglomerate Live Nation is set to build 18 new venues across the United States in the next 18 months, the company said on Tuesday.

Live Nation says it will invest $1 billion to build 18 new concert venues across the U.S., including in some smaller American cities.

Live Nation has announced a $1 billion investment plan to “build 18 new and revitalized live music venues” across the U.S., ranging from smaller clubs to outdoor amphitheaters. Among these venues includes one in Portland, Maine. Live Nation expects to either open or break ground on all venues within the next 18 months.
