First Steps is coming in lighter than projections in its first box office weekend with $117.6 million. Still records were broken.
That search now appears to be over with the phenomenal release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The film is being met with a wave of enthusiastic praise from critics and audiences alike, marking a significant and much-needed win for Marvel Studios.
After a number of false starts, the Fantastic Four have another feature adaptation in the retro-pastiche Fantastic Four: First Steps. This isn’t the first time Mr. Fantastic and co. have appeared onscreen; They were last seen in Josh Trank’s Fantastic 4 (stylized as Fant4stic) and Tim Story’s Fantastic Four films for Fox.
As part of the promotion for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the cast sat down and met their Marvel Rivals counterparts, since new movie-themed costumes have been added to the game. It went as well as you'd expect, considering the cast only had a limited amount of time to learn the game, but some parts left more of an impression than others.
