Oscar Piastri finished fifth in the Mexico Grand Prix, but lost the F1 championship lead to team-mate Lando Norris

McLaren boss Andrea Stella says Formula One title contenders Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri can both feel confident going into the last four races, with neither likely to have a track advantage.

Veteran Aussie broadcaster Gerard Whateley stated on Monday it's hard not to feel like Piastri has been 'nobbled' by his own team. And according to F1 expert Cameron van den Dungen, McLaren have made a "very clear" decision to switch to a car that better suits Norris.

Oscar Piastri hopes his past experiences can help him in the F1 championship as he prepares for the Mexican Grand Prix.

Oscar Piastri said any long-standing punishment for Lando Norris by McLaren has been dropped after their clash in the sprint race. And so, yet another dramatic twist in an increasingly gripping title fight has seen the once-trailing Lando Norris rise to the occasion brilliantly in Mexico to unseat his formerly unstoppable McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri from the lead in the points table that he has held since the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in April.
