No Kings protests are happening in Tennessee in response to President Donald Trump's military and birthday parade and speech.

Organizers with the “No Kings” movement are planning some 1,500 demonstrations across the country to protest the upcoming military parade Saturday. One notable location, however, is

"We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events..."

There are at least 24 protests planned across the state of Tennessee, including several in Middle Tennessee from Clarksville to Pulaski to Murfreesboro and more. Organizers say they expect the largest rally to happen in Nashville.

Protesters are set to hit the streets across the country today.

Protestors gathered in Oklahoma City for the "No Kings National Day of Defiance. OKC's rally was one of hundreds planned across cities in the United States, and was organized by two groups called Indivisible and 50501,
