Sonic the Hedgehog is getting yet another exciting crossover this year, with Sega announcing a new partnership that is over 30 years in the making.

Sega started the "Racing Around the World" campaign this year. There aren't many details to it, but Sonic has played a critical part in speed and racing for over three decades.

The partnership will run through Sonic Team’s 2025 “Racing Around the World” campaign and continue into 2026, marking Sonic’s 35th anniversary and McLaren’s 1,000th Formula 1 Grand Prix.
