According to Charles Huff with the Jackson Fire Department, a call reporting the fire came in at approximately 12:12 p.m.

According to the Meridian Police Department, at approximately 7 pm, officers with the department conducted a routine traffic stop on I-59. Upon discovery, they found over 540 lbs of Marijuana.
