Since the COVID-19 pandemic, offices in some of West Virginia’s largest population centers were offering appointments with walk-ins, while the smaller area offices were walk-in only.

West Virginia's DMV announced an online service that would make it easier to get a REAL ID. The service will cut the time spent at the DMV, with a guided path through pre-enrollment.
