The main characters in the "Mighty Nein" are voiced by their creators — the eight CR cofounders. There were also sneak peeks of the new character art. Japanese anime is a multibillion-dollar industry that the CR cofounders know well. Most of the team started their entertainment careers as anime voice actors.

The Mighty Nein and The Legend of Vox Machina are both set in the same fantasy world of Exandria but are separated by continents and time. The former, to premiere on Amazon's Prime Video this Nov. 19, is set about 20 years after the latter.
