ATLANTA — The hometown hosts of the 2025 All-Star Game have had three players selected to represent them, Major League Baseball revealed on Sunday. Ronald Acuña Jr. was already voted in as a starter, and on Sunday it was announced that Matt Olson and Chris Sale were also chosen as All-Stars for the Braves.

MLB.com's Mark Bowman encouraged the Atlanta Braves to address their organization's position player depth at the MLB trade deadline.

On Sunday, as the Braves were in the process of dropping their series finale, Jon Morosi of MLB Network stated that a trade deadline sale appeared to be the only option available to this Atlanta club. "Difficult to justify anything other than an outright 'sell' approach to the Trade Deadline," Morosi wrote on X.
