Parts of North Texas have already seen a significant amount of snow, with more expected in the coming hours. Snow has been falling in Denton and Collin County for a decent amount of the day, while Tarrant County and Dallas County have seen less snow. Areas like Celina and Bonham saw a reported six inches of snow by 5 p.m.

"Not all of this will stick at first but expect our first accumulating snow in almost a year," Ray said. The wintry mix transitions to all snow at the end of the day Thursday and
