BOSTON -- Cade Cunningham had 32 points and 10 rebounds to help the Detroit Pistons beat the Boston Celtics 112-105 on Monday night. Caris LeVert and Tobias Harris each added 13 points for the Eastern Conference-leading Pistons, who won their fourth straight. Detroit also got even for a frustrating loss in Boston late last month.

There were several plays Boston beat themselves on with late-game turnovers -- but in the NBA, when two good teams play, sometimes that's all it takes.

The Detroit Pistons continue to shake up history as the top team in the Eastern Conference. Their Monday night matchup against the Boston Celtics concluded with a 112-105 victory. Not only did the Pistons earn their 21st win, but they also secured their first victory in Boston since February 2022.

"I think every game’s going to be difficult trying to slow him down, and obviously (he) made some big plays down the stretch," said White.

The Detroit Pistons have won five of their last six matchups, most recently defeating the Atlanta Hawks 142-115 at home last Friday. It was the team’s largest win of the season, and the bench scored a season-high 77 points in the win. 12 players scored at least 7 points, making the Pistons the third team in NBA history to accomplish that feat.
