Luka Doncic said he took a "huge step" in improving his conditioning this summer, adding that his "whole body looks better."

On Aug. 2, Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic will be eligible for a max contract extension. The Slovenia native currently has two years left on his deal, including a $48.9 million player option for the 2026-27 season.

In February, basketball fans were stunned to see that the Mavericks’ general manager, Nico Harrison, sent Doncic to the Lakers. This resulted in a trade between the two teams, bringing center forward Anthony Davis to the Mavericks.
