AMD is expected to officially show off its two new RDNA 4 graphics cards before the end of the month, after revealing little at CES.

AMD has confirmed that Radeon RX 9070 graphics cards will go on sale this March, and the later launch could help it fight the mid-range Nvidia RTX 5070.

AMD announced the new RDNA 4 cards at CES without a release date beyond “Q1,” and AMD exec David McAfee later narrowed that window to “March.” Now, we just heard AMD CEO Lisa Su narrowed it further to “early March” on the company’s Q4 earnings call.

AMD's CEO mentioned the potential release of the Radeon RX 9070 series in early March. The new RDNA 4 architecture in the Radeon 9070 series offers better ray tracing performance. Preorders for the upcoming GPUs may start in late February if AMD sticks to the release date.
