It was like old times at American Family Field on Friday, with Brewers players from bygone days slugging home runs as fans cheered each long ball. Prince Fielder hit a few bombs like he did during his playing days with the Brewers.

The first thing you notice when a home run ball starts to fly in your direction is that all your preconceived notions of how you’d react in that moment are pretty much wrong.

Cal Raleigh has won the 2025 Home Run Derby, defeating Junior Caminero in the final. Raleigh leads MLB with 38 home runs this season. He is the first catcher to win the event and the second Seattle Mariner to do so after Ken Griffey Jr.

While Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder were the favorites, it was Keon Broxton who walked away the winner in the Brewers alumni home run derby.
