Defenders quarterback Jordan Ta’amu, a former Detroit Lions practice squad player, threw for 320 yards on 16-of-20 passing in the half, with three touchdowns.

“It’s been very rewarding, probably as much, if not more, than any of my NFL teams I was with or big games I was in,” Nolan said.

Ta'amu, 27, was a standout quarterback for Ole Miss before entering the NFL in 2019. While Ta'amu has yet to throw an NFL pass, he's been with several teams during the offseason and in training camp.
