Over a dozen 'No Kings Day' protests are taking place take place across the Valley as people gather to stand in opposition of various recent political actions.

Thousands made their voices heard outside the Arizona State Capitol on Saturday morning, protesting against President Donald Trump's policies, at the forefront of issues of immigration.

Roberto Reveles, a prominent Latino civil rights leader, spoke to the crowd about the state’s past with racism and immigration enforcement. His organization, Somos America, led one of the largest civil rights marches in the state’s history and won a lawsuit against then-Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio for racial profiling.

Organizers have planned demonstrations in cities and towns across the country on the same day as President Trump’s parade in Washington to celebrate the Army.
