Couple Robin Kaye and Thomas Deluca were found dead in their Encino home on July 14 — four days after police first responded to reports of a burglary

An "American Idol" executive and her husband were shot and killed in their Encino home, a show spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday, while police search for a suspect. Robin Kaye, who worked as a music supervisor on the long-running singing competition show, started working on the now-ABC-produced series more than a decade ago.

Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca have been murdered in their home as American Idol mourns their demise. The killer jumped the fence after the act.

In her illustrious career, she won multiple Guild of Music Supervisors Awards for her exceptional work on the show.
