Ronald Acuña Jr. has been activated from the injured list by the Atlanta Braves, almost one year after he tore the ACL in his left knee.

Atlanta activated former NL MVP Ronald Acuna Jr. for Friday night’s home game against the Padres, welcoming him back after he missed most of the 2024 season with an ACL tear. His return comes two days before the one-year anniversary of him tearing his ACL against the Pirates last year.

The Atlanta Braves are getting their superstar outfielder, Ronald Acuña Jr., back on Friday, after a lengthy rehab that took nearly a year. Acuña suffered a torn ACL last season that required surgery. Acuña was rehabbing with Triple-A Gwinnett before being scratched on Thursday night with the indication that he would be activated Friday.
