Since White Sox third baseman Miguel Vargas seemingly has all the answers offensively, as evidenced by a two-homer, four-hit game during a 13-3 loss to the Cubs Friday afternoon at Wrigley Field, it only seems fitting Vargas was quick with the postgame replies as well.

Pete Crow-Armstrong tripled, doubled and scored two runs, and the Chicago Cubs completed a three-game sweep of the crosstown White Sox at Wrigley Field with a 6-2 victory.
The White Sox were stymied in their efforts to win their third in a row yesterday as they were smacked by the Reds, 7-1. The Sox managed just four hits off Nick Martinez and a couple of Reds’ relievers. Miguel Vargas had two of the four hits for Chicago.
From Jonathan Cannon’s strong outing to clutch hits by Chase Meidroth and Miguel Vargas, it took a bit of everything for the White Sox to pull out a 5-1 win.
