Employees at Exploris Aquarium have said visitors have been travelling from across Ireland for the chance to feed capybaras, after the Co Down attraction reopened with a new hands-on animal experience. The aquarium recently introduced a series of guided visitor experience days, including a 30-minute ‘Capybara Lunch’ that allows guests to prepare and hand-feed food to resident siblings Jack and Jill, under the supervision of its animal care team.
