Every year the Marine Corps brings educators down to Parris Island, and shows them what boot camp is like. The go and watch what their students who enlist go through. It is an eye opening experience as teachers can see first hand what it is to make a Marine. The educator trip is usually 3 days, and commences with watching Marines graduate on Friday.
