A deadly avalanche killed 7 tourists in India's Himalayan state of Sikkim on April 4. The Indian Army, in a statement, said they rescued at least 20 people, of whom 8 are in critical condition. The group of tourists were at Sikkim’s Nathu La pass, which is a border post between India and China, when they were hit by giant sheets of snow.
