Baby Pete and his mom Piper arrived at the sanctuary three weeks ago after their previous farm fell on hard times and had to downsize. It has been such a joy watching Mamma Piper nourish, protect, groom, and love her son with her whole heart. Every day he is growing, hitting new milestones like eating hay and drinking from a water bucket, and gaining the confidence to play away from Piper’s side.
