My WGN-TV crew and I had a truly fascinating visit to the Byron Nuclear Power Plant yesterday. The plant is located near Rockford and produces power for over 2 million homes without generating warming greenhouse gases. We are so grateful for the chance we were afforded to visit the facility and for the information imparted to us there.
