A glioblastoma multiforme – or GBM - is one of the most aggressive brain tumors. Once diagnosed, patients typically require surgery, radiation and chemotherapy and even then, survival is only between 12 and 15 months. But Northwestern Medicine is looking to change all that with a new vaccine made from a patient’s own tumor.
