Leaping is legal. The difference between a crow hop and a leap is that once the foot replants and pushes again that is illegal, that is a crow hop and if both feet are airborne and once the foot lands and does not re-push that is considered leap. It does not matter where the foot lands when you are leaping, whether you are on the side of your foot on the top of your toes or on the bottom of your cleat, as long as you are not re-pushing it is legal.
