January 29, 2026 A special scene played out for us on a private Wildlife Watching Tour this morning. We started extra early and climbed a snowy ridge in the cover of darkness to be rewarded with a very memorable moment. The Rescue Creek wolf pack woke from their icy beds, let out a group howl for all to hear, then waltzed into the woods for a last check of their recent elk carcass site before moving on.
