This is Traeger, a very special rescue Belgian Draft horse. Draft horses are known as “gentle giants” and are often used as work horses because of their compliance, size and strength. They pull plows, haul loaded hay wagons, and drag timber out of the woods. When they are no longer young and useful to their owners that work them, they often dumped and face an uncertain fate.
