Hundreds of residents joined the Mayor of Wolverhampton Councillor Sandra Samuels OBE for the lighting of a beacon at St Peter’s Church this evening to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. It was one of more than 2,000 beacons lit simultaneously across the UK. The crowd also enjoyed performances from Hit the Dhol and City of Wolverhampton Brass Band.
